We begin with the top 1% of Arabica Beans, sourced from Central and South America. Since 2008, we have built upon New Orleans’ history as North America’s top coffee port, and our roasting process upholds these traditions. In the Faubourg Marigny district, we slow-roast all beans in small batches, and this brings out their complete, authentic flavor profile.
For our Dark Roast Coffee, that is a rich, medium-acidity foundation with strong notes of roasted almonds. Unlike other dark roast coffees, we intentionally avoid any bitter aftertaste and, instead, deliver a heavy, invigorating syrupy body.
In continuing to reduce our environmental impact, New Orleans Roast™ sources our beans through a Direct Trade partnership with Finca Victoria in Puerto Rico. These relationships give our coffee a clear origin and allow us to oversee the quality, and in turn, we assist with developing programs that improve the community’s health, education and housing.
